    Jeremy,

Thanks so much! Please let us know if you have any suggestions for topics.

    Best wishes,

Quick update after a Twitter conversation today. The reverse proxy issue mentioned in the podcast as a reason not to install the Infrastructure Update has been addressed. You can fix it one of two ways and go ahead and get the SharePoint farm updated!

    1. Install hotfix MS KB 956248.
    2. Install the SharePoint August 2008 Cumulative Update (recommended solution). And don’t forget the October 2008 security patch for MOSS that just got released today.

  4. John Ferringer Says:

Any chance we could get a show notes-type write up with a list of the updates discussed? There is a ton of great info but the KB#s were coming so fast and furious that its tough to keep up.

    Thanks,

    John Ferringer

Great job guys! - Keep them coming.

One topic that would be of interest to me would be an overview of the MOSS or WSS installation process, I know there are a number of good step-by-step guides out there, but I would be interested in hearing the ‘real world’ recommendations and gotchas that you have discovered and best practises that you would recommend.

Another one of interest would be the limitations of WSS vs. MOSS. How much can you do for free with WSS without shelling out for MOSS!!

Once again, great job. The best Sharepoint podcast out there.

+1 for the Show Notes idea as well!!

    Thanks,

    Alex
